Kids’ Church Program, for Primary school age children.
The children join everyone in the church at 10.00am for a Kids’ Talk and a couple of songs, then we pray before they go upstairs with the Oasis leaders for their very own ‘church’ time. The Oasis program finishes by about 11am when the grown-ups finish, so we can all have morning tea together.
In Oasis we seek to give children a strong foundation in the Christian faith
from the Bible with activities, stories, songs and video that will keep the
children engaged for the entire Oasis time.
Themes have included ‘Proverbs – God’s Wise Guys’, ‘God’s
Mega Plan’, ‘Paul – Telling the World’, and ‘Jesus – Living Legend,
Powerful Friend’. Each theme / unit runs for a term, usually finishing with a
creative presentation by the kids to the church about what they’ve learnt in
an ‘Oasis Celebration’ service.
